What is Life Coaching?

As a qualified Beyond Success life coach a number of tools and resources are at hand to share and pass onto prospective clients as part of Jill’s Life Coaching program.

Coaching occurs on a one on one bases or group sessions within a workshop environment. Regular sessions are done face to face, depending on the location of the client and Jill or via phone or skype thanks to the efficiency of the internet. This opens the door to clients living out of Australia or interstate as either method is very effective.

Paul and Mary Blackburn are the founders of Beyond Success and have put together this coaching program drawn from their knowledge and experience of the past 25 years in the industry.

The Blackburn’s have devised a personality profile for clients to partake of when commencing coaching with Jill. This exercise is very simple and takes approximately 10 minutes to complete. The results are then emailed back to Jill for processing. The profile is broken up into 4 quadrants – North, South, East and West profiles. A client can come in as a combination of profiles or indeed just one.

As a client you would receive your relevant essay/s arising from your profile results. These give a very detailed account of ones personal strengths and weaknesses. What’s going on for them emotionally, mentally, physically and within relationships!

It also indicates how a client is perceived by other people as well as how they cope under pressure and in deed how they perceive themselves.

The benefits from knowing this are enormous. We need to focus on our strengths and not our weaknesses and as such this information gives us a better understand of why our partner, children or work colleague for example, behaves the way they do, as they will probably come in as a totally different profile.

This information is also very useful when employing staff or forming a team to know where each persons strengths and weakness lye. The results here are very specific and a very good tool to have.

Life Coaching will support you in a number of areas. It can identify you strengths and as such build upon them as an asset financially and emotionally. It could bring to light what has been holding a client back from reaching their true potential on an emotional and physical level.

How would you rate your own self worth, self esteem or assertiveness as a leader in business or within a personal relationship? Another role could be in supporting a client in setting goals then working on specific strategies allowing a dream to become a reality. Yes accountability is a must with good time management skills here. As noted in the ‘Home’ page of this site, a lot of habits are formed and developed within the first few years of life. For years, one could try to perfect working around situations instead of moving through them with a totally different outcome.
