Terms of Use

The short version: be fair with my work and I'll be fair with you, and nothing here overrides your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
1. Who you're dealing with
Jillybeans Holdings Pty Ltd as trustee for the Jillybeans Holdings No 2 Trust (ACN 102 857 394), trading as Decide Believe Begin Become, ABN 40 915 875 477, Australia. When these terms say "I" or "me", they mean the company. These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
2. What you own, and what you're licensed to use
Everything I sell is digital. The book, the Tool Bag workbook, the audio, the essays, the presentations and your profile materials come to you as downloads, and they're licensed to you personally — a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use them for your own purposes. Print it, copy it, mark it up — it's yours to use. What you may not do is republish it, resell it, share it with people who haven't bought it, or use it commercially. Copyright and all other intellectual property in what I've written and recorded stays with me. Affiliates: your permitted materials are in the affiliate kit and terms.
3. What my work is — and isn't
Everything here is personal development: education, reflection and coaching. It is not psychological testing, diagnosis, therapy, medical advice or financial advice. The profile describes patterns; it does not diagnose anything. If you're struggling with your mental health, please see a qualified professional — Lifeline is 13 11 14.
4. The profile
Your profile is built from the answers you give, so how useful it is depends on how honestly you answer. It's prepared personally and in good faith, and it's intended to support your own reflection. It doesn't guarantee any particular personal, professional, relationship, financial or health outcome.
5. Access and misuse
Digital products are emailed to you after purchase — there's no account to create and no login to keep track of. If you lose the email, ask me and I'll send it again. I may withdraw access to anything I supply if you obtain it fraudulently, or reproduce or redistribute my material without permission, or otherwise deliberately breach the licence in clause 2. Where there's fraud or deliberate misuse I may act straight away; otherwise I'll tell you what the problem is and give you a chance to put it right first. Where the law requires a refund, you'll get one.
6. Refunds
Per the Refund Policy, which sits alongside — never in place of — your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
7. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified — including the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law. Depending on the circumstances those rights can include a repair, a replacement, a refund, or compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss.
To the extent the law allows, I'm not liable for loss arising from using the material for a purpose it wasn't intended for, from misusing it, or from relying on personal development material instead of getting professional advice.
8. Changes
The terms that apply to something you buy are the ones in force when you bought it. If I update these terms, the update applies to later purchases — not backwards to yours. If you're in an ongoing membership or continuing service, I'll give you reasonable notice of any change, and a change will never take away rights you've already built up.
